Starting Year with SAMS: 2022

Calling to Ministry: In university, Anthony and Anna grew a love for the international community and sharing the Gospel with people from other nations. During their time in university, they spent time on short-term mission trips meeting and sharing the Gospel with international students who didn’t have easy access or exposure to learning about Jesus. Anthony and Anna got married in 2015 and immediately moved to Cambodia (where Anna had lived for one year already) to work in a Christian bilingual school that focuses on Christian education as a way of sharing the Gospel with children and their families. Over their years in Cambodia, God grew a desire for them to be more involved in their church in Phnom Penh and working more closely with Cambodian adults. In 2023, they will shift their ministry from education to working full-time with their church in Phnom Penh, sharing the Gospel and being part of a church planting team in a new part of the city.

Mission and/or Vision for Ministry: Anthony and Anna hope to raise up and disciple young Cambodian families in following Jesus with every aspect of their lives while still respecting Cambodian culture. They desire to see a new generation of Cambodians raised up who love Jesus, follow him daily, and share about the love of Jesus with other Cambodians. 

Personal Points of Interest: Anthony enjoys fellowship with other dads, playing soccer, and hosting dinners at their house. Anna enjoys photography, hanging out with friends, women’s ministry, and raising their daughters. They have four daughters who were all born in the same hospital in Cambodia.
