Dates of Service: Jonathan started serving in August 2024, has been with Role Call since May 2025!

Calling to Ministry: He was raised in a Christian family but having rejected God’s fatherhood and lordship in his past, he considers himself a convert and has been a born-again believer since finally giving into God’s exceedingly gracious call. Ever since surrendering his life to the Lord and ironically finding his freedom right there, he’s sought to help others find that same freedom and sonship that God created humans for and planned for us even before the world began. When he was about 16, he further deepened in His faith after taking Communion at a church in England and has considered himself a part of the Anglican branch of Christianity ever since. With bad news every day, he realized people were missing faith, hope, and love all around and that infinitely more important than building a legacy of worldly success was the need to set people eternally free from the chains and destination that sin perpetuates. He began discerning this call to more direct ministry and felt a need to get reconnected in Christian community that was “evangelical” and “catholic”. God opened and closed doors and a short time later had put in front of him someone asking for help planting such a ministry right where he was.

Mission and/or Vision for Ministry: His mission is to bring people into intimate and incomparable relationship with the triune God through the means God has provided in Jesus Christ: Word, Sacrament, and Worship. His vision is for a deeply biblical-rooted community, reinforced by Common Prayer, that is able and longs to help the people around them personally know God’s great love too. More than anything he wants to see the Lord known and made known: adored, abided in, and glorified through unmatched love for Him and love for others.

Personal Points of Interest: He loves adventure, travel and adrenaline and didn’t expect to be in the ministry he is. He’s a fan of languages and food but most of all he loves people and getting to see the image of God in them and to see them restored to what God intended them to be as that love pours out into sincere love for others.
